“Great sofa
We love this sofa! We bought it to replace a 1 1/2 year old, high-end reclining sectional that allegedly was upholstered in indoor-outdoor fabric that would stand up to normal wear and was cleanable with soap and water. It did not and was not, and our mistake was letting a designer talk us into a white sofa (although we have two black cats and a 3 year old granddaughter). So off it went. The new La-z-boy Duo sectional is awesome. Clean lines, so comfortable, and clean fabric! We went with iclean fabric in a very light tan color with a nap and upgraded to tempurpedic cushions. “Seat is quite wide; made for taller people
I have had this furniture for well over a year now and it still looks quite attractive and sturdy, but I have come to really dislike it. The seat is very wide, so that unless you are tall (I am 5'5"), you either have to sit like a child with your feet dangling off of the floor, sit in the middle of the seat with your feet on the floor and have no back support, or end up leaning back without lower back/lumbar support. I bought lumbar pillows, but did so too late as I had already developed a back strain from months of sitting on this furniture. Being in the reclined position doesn't feel much better. My teenage children who are my height agree with me; my husband who is much taller doesn't have a problem with it. So it looks very pretty in my family room, while I sit in the den. Three stars because I often get compliments on the look of the furniture from guests and the fabric is holding up very well. Also, I suppose it's necessary, but I don't like that the cushions are built in and can't be removed. The cushions on the recliner sections are visibly depressed and more worn than the sections without the recliner. It would be nice to be able to rotate them.” - Susan S.
