Does La-Z-Boy South Texas Deliver?
Yes, La-Z-Boy South Texas does deliver furniture to you! From an oversized power recliner to a recliner sofa, furniture delivery is a core belief of La-Z-Boy South Texas.
While we are not able to confirm a delivery time when you make the purchase, we will call the evening before the delivery to provide the anticipated delivery time.
If for any reason we are unable to fulfill the commitment, we will call to let you know within the scheduled time frame.
How Do I Prepare For My Delivery?
Whether you’re getting ready for a new powered loveseat recliner or an 8 piece sectional sofa, there are a couple of steps you can take to prepare for your delivery.
It is very important to make sure you have measured your room and are confident the furniture will fit. Ideally, this step will be completed before the purchase decision, but certainly before the delivery.
To learn how to do this properly, this article will walk you through how to measure a room to buy the right furniture.
Next, please make sure the room is ready, and all entrances and walkways are cleared of delicate or breakable items. This includes making sure sidewalks, paths, and driveways are open.
If you have pets, please please keep them in a secure location for their safety and our delivery team.
Lastly, if you live in an apartment building, please schedule your elevator access for the time of delivery. This will make the delivery process more efficient.
Can I Schedule My Delivery Online?
As of February 5th, 2024, online delivery scheduling is unavailable at La-Z-Boy South Texas. All deliveries and pickups must be scheduled with your personal design consultant or through the warehouse directly.
To coordinate delivery or look at other furniture options, feel free to schedule an appointment with one of our in-store designers.
Will the Delivery Team Move My Old Furniture?
To get your new favorite reclining leather loveseat, you may need some help removing that old modular sofa from your living room. The good news is that La-Z-Boy’s delivery team will move the old furniture!
All property movement will be made under your direction and supervision. Therefore, La-Z-Boy will not be responsible for damages of any kind to any person, personal property, or real property that may result from the movement.
How Much Does Delivery Cost?
The cost of delivery will include the transportation, unpacking, inspection, and assembly of the furniture. That being said, the ultimate cost of delivery will depend on your location.

How Long Will It Take For My Order to Be Delivered?
Because La-Z-Boy does not manufacture the fabrics used in our upholstery, we cannot always ensure that the fabric required for your order is available. For this reason, we cannot guarantee delivery dates.
Since La-Z-Boy furniture is customizable, many orders have special requests and customizations included. Custom orders, such as a leather recliner sofa or a heated massage recliner, typically arrive within 5 to 8 weeks of your purchase date.
While 5 to 8 weeks is typical, some orders can take longer. Custom orders are manufactured in several different plants throughout the country. Depending on the plant involved, shipping the goods can take 2 weeks or more.
To ensure our customer service, furniture that gets damaged in transit will not be delivered to you. For these reasons, we cannot guarantee delivery dates and times on custom orders, but we will keep you informed if there is a delay.
What Happens After the Delivery?
After the delivery process is completed, you will receive an evaluation card by email or text. The purpose of the evaluation card is to give you the opportunity to provide honest feedback, either good or bad.
In the evaluation, you can rate your in-store satisfaction level, delivery satisfaction, and if you’d refer La-Z-Boy to a friend. We encourage honest feedback and appreciate it!
Can I Pick Up My Order Myself?
If you’re ordering a small swivel accent chair or you just have a big vehicle, you may not find delivery necessary. If you have what is necessary to transport the furniture yourself, of course, you can pick it up yourself!
Pickups from our designated pickup locations can be scheduled between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM Tuesday-Saturday. Additionally, pickups must be scheduled 48 hours in advance.
It is kindly requested that you call at least two hours before pick up.
What’s Next?
Furniture delivery serves to make the furniture-buying process less stressful and to help those who do not have the means to pick the furniture up themselves. This way, you can rest easy knowing that your custom swivel recliner will arrive in pristine condition.
This does not mean that everybody must use La-Z-Boy’s delivery service. If you have a big enough space to transport your furniture or a small order, you may not need your furniture to be delivered.
